I only distribute wmmixer in src.tar.gz format: wmmixer.tgz.

Features

  • X11 Linux Application

    • Runs on linux systems with X11 and Shape, Xpm extensions
    • Runs in a normal window for use with any windowmanager
    • Can run in a shaped window (use "-s" command line argument) for swallowing, etc.
    • Can run in a withdrawn state (use "-w") for use in the WindowMaker Dock
    • Can run in a reduced size, shaped window (use "-a") for use in the AfterStep Wharf
    • Accepts "-display display" command line argument

    • Finds all channels on your soundcard's mixer

    • Icons identify standard channels (Volume, Wave, Midi, CD, Line In, Mic, Speaker, Bass and Treble)
    • Stereo volume control (stereo channels, eg. Volume)
    • Mono volume control (mono channels, eg. Mic)
    • Can be configured to set volume levels at startup
    • Recording source button (on channels which support it, eg. CD)
    • Can be configured to set recording sources at startup
